The 2025 Dance Recital

The annual dance recital is a celebration of our dancers’ passion and an exciting display of the skills they learn during class time.

Students learn stage skills and dance routines during class time throughout the year. During the Dance Recital, they perform in costume on the big stage for family and friends! 

No additional practice time is required outside of classes!

2025 Dance Recital: June 20th & 21st

You & Me Dance

The ‘You & Me’ dance is our family dance in the recital! Parents, guardians, or special family members are invited to share the stage with their dancers for a choreographed dance.

(It’s as precious as it sounds!)

You & Me registration forms can be picked up at your studio’s front desk. This form is separate from the main registration form.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The dance recital fee covers facility rentals, dancer costumes, and staffing for the event. Plus one guaranteed ticket for the dancer’s family!

  • We do our best to keep showtimes between 60 and 90 minutes on the big day.

  • Yes. All dancers performing in the recital are required to participate in dress rehearsal.

    This is an especially great time for our younger dancers to go through the stage entrance/exit procedure with their teacher and perform under the stage lights.

    Many dancers who are nervous during rehearsals shine on performance day because they know what to expect!

  • You are able to sign up for the ‘You & Me’ dance without signing up for your class dance, however you must be enrolled in classes at Heart & Soul Kids to participate.

  • No! Since we are a year-round facility, classes run all summer long. Dancers are not automatically dropped after Recital ends.

    (Reminder: tuition is non-refundable after it processes for the month.)
