Meet Deanna, Founder & Owner

Deanna Sherman is a born and raised Tucsonan who fell in love with gymnastics when she was 4 years old. Although recruited by many universities, she has been a Wildcat with all her heart and soul since she was a kid! Deanna accepted a full-ride gymnastics scholarship to the University of Arizona competing for the GymCats from 2008-2012. Bear down! She had a wonderful experience fulfilling her dreams at the University of Arizona and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Sports Marketing.

Deanna was named Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week 3 times throughout her career and was the recipient of Arizona’s Jim Gault award in 2010. In 2011 she qualified in the All-Around for the NCAA Championships and was named 1st Team Pac 10 All-Conference in the All-Around in 2010 and 2011. Deanna has 20 years of gymnastics experience, both as a coach and gymnast. She is a USGA certified recreational coach and CPR certified.

When she isn’t busy running Heart & Soul Kids, Deanna is with her kids and husband enjoying all the outdoor activities Tucson has to offer.
